Interaction between planted trees and terrain tiles

Postby Jalpha » Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:48 am

I stumbled upon something a little strange and was wondering what has happened here. Not game breaking by any means but it seems like an interesting abnormality.

No trees in the image are stunted and neither of the two large trees is planted directly onto a forest tile. However as you can see they have grown at a rate indicating that they are affected by a forest tile.

Soo, one tree planted on a forest tile, the other two are not. One tree is mature, the other two are not. What is strange in it?
Anyway, try to disable biome tile transition and display hit boxes if you are using a custom client. Send us a more detailed picture. :geek:

Two trees not on forest terrain grew much faster than four trees which are not. The trees were planted in order from left to right. I'm wondering how two trees have managed to acquire a growth speed buff from a forest tile they are not planted on.
