Roasting meat causes kvann to vanish from inventory

Using a lit fireplace I roasted five raw venison. I noticed that when I had the roast meat recipe up the kvann I had in my inventory also seemed to have been selected. Each time I roasted a piece of venison a piece of kvann disappeared at the same time the raw venison became sizzling roast venison.

I believe the same thing happened while I was roasting chicken and beaver.

kvann is considered a spice and was added to your cooked meat, check the crafting menu now. spices are additional, optional ingredients which add to the overall fep.

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I couldn't figure out how kvann would be somehow listed in the roast meat recipe coding.

Kvann is, indeed, a spice. If you look at the tooltip for the meat, it'll say "made with Kvann". Resolved.
