Unearned wounds

I have been receiving random wounds on my character that I've done nothing to earn. It started Saturday with deep cuts and nasty lacerations. Today I wake up and find that I have now been blade kissed when I've not been involved in any fights. I haven't even been in a scrap with a wild animal. I haven't even had leeches lovingly suckle at my breast. Although I may have had a few midge swarms tickle my fancy once or twice AT MOST. What gives? Am I being violated in my sleep? Who's that peeping in my window?!

I had a few other wounds which transformed into a single blade kiss. But I think it happened after a not very careful (from my side) fight with a boar, so I thought it's an intended mechanics. Not sure anymore...

Some other wound you had most likely transformed into that on account of some other wound you received. I strongly suspect that you have not simply received these randomly and out of the blue.

Blade kiss probably shouldn't tear from other wounds since it's specifically from a...blade.

there should just be a "blade kiss" bug thread because ive gotten it from a troll and my buddy got it from slimes and i dont see either of those carrying swords

Agree in principle, but some of the animals use a melee wound list on the reasoning that they have tusks and shit. Should arguably be differentiated.

Yeah, makes sense. But having a whole different list for PvP melee would be awesome, i love more wound variety. Maybe even two different lists, animal and PvP, with a UA/MC list inside, plus environment damage from cave-ins and such.
