im pretty sure paving decays / biome creep regardless if its claimed or not. its really annoying when you cant repave under the wall

I don't have that problem in my place - everything claimed stays vine-free, as it should.

Don't think vclaim counts for preventing these.

W10, when vine decay was implemented, this isn't how it worked at all. Only on unclaimed paved terrain.

My pessimistic guess would be that the tile in question wasn't covered in a pclaim or vclaim for a short time, and then the vines were able to appear after a decay hit.

It did W10 when implemented.

Sorry, I didn't make what I was trying to say clear enough. My fault. What I meant is that my own village claim is not preventing this, and I'm getting none on any of my personally claimed land. At present, vclaim doesn't seem to count for preventing vines.

It's been under the same vclaim for the last week and a half at least.

The problem with this theory is that other unclaimed structures decay much, much faster. So it must count somewhat. Seems like a bug to me.

As soon as the server is back up I'll check, but so far we haven't had any vine decay on our village.

A random guess, but do you have any paved terrain adjacent to unclaimed land? We have a buffer between paved terrain and outside, maybe that has something to do with it?
