Nettle Burn not applying survival bonus

I was out picking some string for some projects and i noticed that nettle burns only give +2 to survival with multiple wounds. I had 7-8 and was still only receiving +2 to survival from them. not sure if bug or intended?

the buff can only make your statistics 2x of its base value (unless something changed since it worked like this)

Also take a look for your wounds, for example concussion can take away some % of your stats.
