Bonus will from gildings does not impact the number of fishing options you see. With 38+2 will my fishing character had 3 options. With 40+0 it has 4.

Survival is also a factor. Did your survival change?

To add to this same topic. I noticed the same thing with my perception * exploration when trying to hunt rustroot. I had the stats required with bonus applied, but never found any rustroot. The moment I had the required stats without the bonuses I was able to immediately find rustroot.

assuming of course rustroot is still 500 perception * exploration min required.
