Unable To Place Wood Stockpile On Mountain Terrain

When attempting to place a stockpile of boards on mountain terrain I am denied with a, "You cannot build on this type of terrain" error. For some reason just attempting to place a stockpile causes the game to think you are trying to build.

The stockpile is rather large and can't be put down on significantly sloped terrain.

Yeah, there was no problem placing the stockpile right beside the mountain terrain, just not on actual mountain terrain. Seems like something might have been borked with one of the recent updates.
