Bear tooth ate half of my savings

So yesterday I was asked by my miners to make them some better str outfit, and since they've mined and smelted a bunch of cinnabar earlier, I've boiled some felt, created some gilds from it and made some linen shirts as a base. Then, I've started to cgild and recycle, until I've hit 2 skirt with 2 gild slots. Then I've took a pair of copper buttons and a pair of my best bear teeth and start inserting them. First skirt was gilded with button and then tooth successfully, but then I've inserted tooth into second one and got ungildable skirt. Cool.
That tooth ate both free slots, resulting in loss of 4l of quicksilver, 2 stockpiles of hides and pretty all my flax stock of 2 weeks work, made a bunch of non-healing injures, and most importantly lowered my reputation as tailor and thats is pretty hard punch.
Really unfun.
Seriuosly, that was one of that moments when you are too close to ''man, fuck this game'' thought.
