Starting Quest Draw Water

I recently settled with the homies on a island with no fresh water, and then proceeded to die. Im trying to complete the starting quest of drawing water from a water source, however neither ocean water nor stored water count towards this. Drawing from barrels should imo count towards this quest at least, since the next is to drink, and im crying rn sis sksksksk. Please, gods, bless me.

Wells in islands are a bug.
There should not be wells on islands, because the salty water gets under the islands aquifers!!
