Pigs on leash are conceringly slow and left behind

So I've been taking pigs out for truffles and noticed that I end up walking sometimes across the whole screen, good cam zoomed out to max, and they'll still be standing still and then they finally decide to start trotting over to you.

Horses dont do this when leashed, which leads me to wonder if it could be an implemented animal speed. However for the life of me I can't seem to recall any pigs last world that were this insanely slow, on leashes.

Tried this on two piglets btw, just working with what I got.

Aye, truffle hunting is a pain, pigs are slow.

Speed is one thing, the speed with which they check if you're too far and resume running at you is another thing. Piggies seem slower than running speed so you might want to walk, and if they're taking too long to decide to follow you tug on the rope with pull. I was doing that with 4 hogs until i decided i hated myself for it and stuck with one. It worked though, after i managed to remember which rope was which pig.

I think you should just say “hearthling who is leading a fat hunk of meat is excessively fast and leaves behind truffle finder”

Also, if you are leashing more than one they get stuck on each other and fall behind.

You can pull the leash.

I forgot to mention, this happens even at walking speed. They'll stop walking till I cross a damn whole screen's distance. Sure that's intended?
