I noticed some food aren't scaling based on your attribute, like roasthopper, not sure if it's normal or intended since they only use one ingredient for the recipe.

I thought it might be a bug because in the wiki mentioned that the quality is softcapped by perception and survival, but I guess because it's not using other ingredients that the softcapping mechanic is not being applied?

Food doesn't scale based on stat, too low stats make it worse but "sufficient" stats just make it so ingredient q isn't changed.

So you're used to other ingredients raising your outcome q but with this it just comes out how it's supposed to be and you're not ruining it with your cook stats.

So even with say when you're processing materials, the stat highlighted for those recipes aren't being factored in and you can basically just ignore them? Because many processed recipes only call for one or same ingredients so the output is just the quality of ingredient used or the average of the ingredients.

Yes as long as you are not lowering it, your stats will not impact the outcome.
