Snow should no longer overwrite tiles on your world map. Requires client update.
My map is still being overwritten. Maybe this issue is unique to Amber client, because I haven't tested other clients, in which case this can be ignored.

You should check your client's thread first before posting in Bugs. this is one of the most recent thing discussed there. viewtopic.php?f=49&t=40400&start=4560#p844159
