Items in cart / rowboat not removable

Items may be placed in a cart (or rowboat). Items may not be removed from a cart (or rowboat).

Have reproduced on both standard and custom clients. Have reproduced on three different carts in three locations, both on and off claim. Goods are not stolen, no active scents (reference to an earlier cart bug). Have reproduced with one rowboat. Other than that, the item remains usable. I can lift the rowboat, drag the cart, etc.

All was working as it was supposed to just a few minutes before the behavior started, approximately 1 hr 15 minutes ago. Have tried both relogging and waiting for an hour to see if issue resolves. It so far has not.

Running Java 8 64bit update 241, build 1.8.0_241-b07. No Java errors thrown, so no stacktrace. Hope this helps.

Minor update:

Tried same process on different computer, clean installation. Same results. It seems either something is wrong with my carts and rowboats themselves, or my character has inherited a sticky bit.

I even constructed a new cart, loaded it with a log and am unable to remove it. My character moves towards the cart as if to remove the item, but stops at the cart without removing anything. Could this be a bounding box issue? Maybe I can't actually touch the object to remove it?

Next up I will create an alt and see if that solves the issue. Back shortly with results. I hope.

Same results with alt character. Perhaps of interest is that when using the Lift command on the cart, I got the "Ripped off the ground" achievement and exp points, but it failed to actually lift the item from the cart.

I'm at a loss, but open to suggestions. This is a potentially game breaking bug for me, unfortunately, as it means I cannot use any of the transport options to move containers / objects around.

So you are trying to pick the items up by using the Lift command? If yes, that's the problem. You must right click the bags in the cart/boat, to pick up those items, you can't pick them up by using the Lift command.
You have however found an interesting way to get that lore event, lol.

Thank you. The horrible truth is I have been doing this correctly for two weeks, but once I did it wrong, I got locked into the wrong way. Lol.
