Postby Vassteel » Sun Mar 22, 2020 7:56 pm

Now im not sure if this is an amber client bug or not but tarpits are not saving to my Map, they show up on the mini map like any other world resource but don't get saved to the big map

???

The well isn't the source of the water. The water table is the source of the water. That's natural.

If tarpits are part of the localized resources, sure, they should save to the map.

As far as the natural springs/wellspring things... burrows don't save to the map, and these don't seem to run dry, so... I, at least, don't think they should be saved like a localized resource. And I'm glad they don't. I don't need to know where every q10 spring is. (These should probably have a small pond or be the source of a shallow stream.)

well tarpits do go dry and take a day to start refilling so far is seems like they regen 10L a day they can also be claimed which is an issue

If they generate 10L a day and can be covered by a personal claim, I don't think they're intended to be localized resources. I agree we could definitely use a 'yes' or 'no' answer on this. If nothing else, it's a good request as they're not common enough to clutter the map listing like I've seen the wellsprings.

I don't think the value of 10L of tar comes close to the value of other localized resources tbh. Being able to pclaim them doesn't strike me as an especially big deal, but I would understand why someone might want pclaims to be prohibited for continuity's sake.
