Dusk Fern Stackable?

After picking dusk fern you can't turn it into a pile of leaves to stack it up but you CAN add it to an existing stack of leaves. Possible bug?

I am able to create a leaf stockpile from a dusk fern. This sounds like a problem located between the chair and the keyboard.
