Can't attack animals from boats

if the intended fix to prevent boat combat was meant to apply to animals too, how on earth is one expected to legitimately fight the deep ocean cetaceans?

also what if i get aggro'd by an orca do i just abort myself in to the ocean?

Not a bug, intended. Jorb was told on Discord, it's a side effect of the boat combat change.
