Continous fill, you say?

The problem is that when attempting to shift-click soil into Garden Pot, you can miss and hit ground. You have now instead commanded adding soil to increase terrain elevation.

Easy workaround to this is to simply pave the area you have your pots in.

The "click area" of the pot itself could use a bit of a change. it's finicky to click the first soil into the pot. Once it has dirt in it, the click area is reasonably sized. (Side note: same goes for a fireplace that has no fuel or ashes.)

I think this would be most easily fixed by not allowing to shift+click soil into the ground if there are any garden pots on top of it.

yeah, but still a pain in the ass because the click area doesn't match the pot correctly, so not really a good solution.
