Cave Hermit Study Speed Bonus Not Applying When Indoors

I have a log cabin with a bed in it on cave level 7. I noticed that my curios weren't ticking down as fast as they should have been. I was only getting the 5% study speed bonus from mystic. After moving my bed out of the house, I got the +10.5% study speed from cave hermit. Is the study speed bonus not working indoors intended, and if not, can you fix this?
