Sketchbook decays out of knarr sign while building it

I had been saving up nice materials for a knarr for a few weeks and just got around to building it. All materials were stockpiled by the water before i started construction, and the building process only took a few minutes. I had a nice image for a sail, which i paid real $ to make into a sketchbook. However, the knarr ended up with no image on its sail, even though I clearly remember building the sketch into it. I also noticed that it took extra ropes to finish, initially i thought that had something to do with taking them out of my belt, but now I am certain that some of the ropes decayed as well. This is kindof bullshit. Not only does the cosmetic store item I paid real money for just randomly vanish, but now my high q knarr doesn't have a cute sail! Pls fix

yeap.
some kind of decay-protection for fresh construction signs would be nice. Since you can't both predict the decay hit or choose the mat-injection order - it's literally a roulette to build anything properly.
Also, the mechanic where you spend real money on the item that may be taken by the game itself w/o any way to protect it looks much like scamming.

Yeah decay to signs shouldn't happen if they were recently built materials into. Like 72h timer before decay starts after the last time something was built into the sign.
