Server not responding to router

Postby Schattengaenger » Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:22 pm

Hi,

Not sure if this is somehow on your end seeing how I can load the website just fine over mobile, but neither tracert nor ping (the CMD commands) will give me an answer from www.havenandhearth.com
I already tried changing my DNS to Google's, but the haven website is the way only one not responding. All the others work just fine.
Using the windows trouble shooting results in the message "your pc seems to be configured correctly, but the device/resource isn't answering.

Can you help?

Oh, so you're probably the one who've been spamming the authentication server for about a year, then. I've had to put an IP ban on that address for it to not fill my logs. Does it work better now that I've removed it?

If it is unbanned right now that wasn't it.

How far does the tracert actually get?

First things first ... for some odd reason it works again with no problems but to answer your questions it went over a few different hops normally to my provider and then only did not responding ones until it got to 30 where is stops. DOing it now results in these (not gonna post anything lower than my provider)
hops IP
6 cable-62-117-4-2.cust.telecolumbus.net [62.117.4.2]
7 146.0.110.11
8 109.104.60.207
9 decix2-gw.hetzner.com [80.81.193.164]
10 core24.fsn1.hetzner.com [213.239.203.150]
11 ex9k1.dc14.fsn1.hetzner.com [213.239.245.122]
12 ansgar.seatribe.se [159.69.75.231]

the ping command give me no returns.
My provider has a pretty terrible repurtation so it might have been him, but that it was only to your server is what kept bugging me.

Anyway, the problem seems resolved so thank you for your time!
