Wild Bee Honey

It doesn't seem like Wild Bee Honey gives the discovery of honey or sweetener; I've found a handful of Odd Honeycombs myself and took the honey out of them myself but didn't get any discovery, nor do I have any unlocks for honey whilst having other ingredients.

It was the first sweetener I got (and so far the only one) and I have the recipes. Are you sure you've actually discovered it (you discover it when raiding the beehive) and you have the appropriate skills and other ingredient discoveries for the stuff you're missing?

I'm the only one from my group who has been raiding beehives, and if you're suppose to get it as soon as you get it from the hive rather than when putting it in a bucket then... I'm at even more of a loss.

How do you raid the hive? I raid and 3 bees chase me, I outrun them and go back to hive to raid again , more bees... They are neverending...

Go to the next hive. If it spawns one bee swarm and you can kill it, do that and try again. Sometimes you can raid it successfully with a few beestings. Otherwise, if it spawns bees on you, run off the aggro and go to a different hive. About 1 in 10 won't spawn bees (or something like that).
