I increased resolution scale and it's crashed my game.

so i've just downloaded the game and everything went smoothly with account creation etc. when i loaded into the game the first thing i did was go into my video settings. by default the resolution scale is 1.0 and as soon as i tried increasing it i got an error saying video memory ran out or something? now whenever i try to load the game or redownload i'm met with the same error and i'm just stuck in a loop. any advice? not off to the greatest start here lol.
