Wanderer's Bindle disappearing upon dropping

Title kind of says it all. Checked the forums for an old similar report of this, where the bindle was in the belt. Not the case here. I dropped one accidently. Then a second one to shift+rightclick pick up the first one i couldn't find. And then a third one inside a house to find out if i am crazy (the first two were outside on claimed land). All are gone now. This is just a minor setback, but a setback nonetheless.
