I wanted to make a beast ring and i wanted to use some Wishbones - they aren't a fine bone anymore? i think i made 1 from them like 1 week ago

They aren't finebone anymore as of the most recent patch. You can use mole paws instead which are also easy to get.

Bog turtles are another semi-reliable source for fine bone.
