Stockpiles exploding

Hello.
Today I found that my coal stockpile pretty much exploded, dropping almost its entire content on the ground.
The stockpile is placed on paved ground, inside a claim, in a cave.

I figured it's not supposed to happen, at least not inside a claim, or stockpiles would be worthless...

Yes the claim has been active for over a week, it does have authority, and the stockpile was fully inside it, about 3 grid-squares from the claim border (it had more stockpiles and a palisade between it and the end of the claim).
