What happened to swamp spawns?

I can see this picture pretty often nowadays, no fireflies, no cattail. Half of the swamp can be literally empty, while one minimap of it is full of insects and plants, which is ordinary for swamps.

How to reproduce: logoff not far from swamp, login back in 15 minutes

Might not be related to swamps, as it's just not that obvious on bioms with poor spawn on it

Today I will come home from work, tune the client to minimum specifications and launch 50 violas to place them naked in all the swamps in the area. After death, I will inherit and they will stand there again.

This seems like a bug imo, two very large same colored swamps have been empty, no cattails, no dragonflies, no frogs, no lizards, no candleberries, no waterstriders, no nothing.

there seems to be a delay between all the items in a zone unloading and new items loading. its really noticeable for caves when you're login-logout spamming.
