Gelatin not giving discovery & recipes

I created a gelatin from a bunch of squirrel tails and rabbit furs over a boiling clay cauldron, and I didn't get neither the discovery nor the recipes.
Not sure what else can I say, I have a bucket of gelatin, a bunch of meat and no recipe for Meat-in-Jelly.

Heh. Recipe unlocked by mining, it seems. Made sense in the past, I guess. Will change.
