Herder Credo - Wild Animals always accept clover - bug?

I have finished herder credo.

went to mountain with intention of getting goat mohair.
Approached goats... right clicked clover as usual (got off my horse first).
Goat did not take clover... instead it ran up and backed off a few times and then lost interest and attacked

out of 10 goats, 4 of them attacked me after losing interest in the clover.

I then resorted to the tried and true method which is getting directly beside the animal which as everyone knows works 100% of the time for whatever reason.


This means that this is a USELESS reward for a credo because it doesn't work and you still have to use the old methods that dont require herder. Also... in order to complete Herder you need all the animals tamed already and its unlikely someone who has finished herder (which takes along time) would ever start taming wild animals again.

please alter the reward.

I ran across this today; I finished the relevant level of the herder credo but the first goat I tried didn't accept my clover.
