Unable to make Snake Juice?

I have fangs, honey, salt water, clay jars, and access to a cauldron, all discovered and collected originally by this character. I have First Aid as well, as listed by the wiki. I'm losing my absolute mind over a -15STR wound that is making it nearly impossible to progress. I spent all day trying to 'discover' honey for a second time, only to find that I had it discovered the whole time. I went down the list and re-discovered every individual ingredient, again. Salt Water was a multi-hour voyage.

The option to craft it doesn't appear in the Medicines list. I have access to Toad Butter, Poultice, and Ant Paste.

Is there some obscure requirement? Do I need Woodsmanship, which would grand the discoveries of other sweeteners? Does Wild Honey not work? I can't imagine what I could be missing.

Most likely you need to discover said item too, added it to wiki with "verify" -tag.

I have access to clay jars, and can make rustroot extract just fine. Snake Juice is the only thing that doesn't appear in the menu.

It's possible that same principle applies as with when you butcher animals, that drop as inventory objects, inside a container.

For example you have a dead chicken in a crate. You select "pluck" and receive three feathers in your inventory, discovering them if you haven't already. But guess that happens if you (or someone else) grabs the dead chicken? They discover it as it counts as "untouched."

If you drained the honeycombs into bucket in a container, you didn't "touch" the honey and it remained undiscovered until you (wild guessing) went out to raid beehives with bucket on hand and drained the honeycombs there.
