Still plodding along on my own trying to decipher this. Numerous reinstalls, file shuffling, back online attempting to find descriptions of the error messages I might understand, apparently clearing one issue only to open another. I am down to the following, about which I can find nothing online:

(running: java -jar autohaven-animary.jar from command prompt)

java.lang.InternalError: No RenderingEngine module found

Hope someone can help, the laptop on which I'm currently playing is on its last legs.

Never found anything online regarding the previous error message ("could not find render engine"), and no response at stackoverflow to post regarding it. So after two weeks of trying to get openjdk to work I gave up, removed it, cleaned up the environment path, and reinstalled Java8. FWIW, the previous "SSLException....Tag Mismatch" was cleared in Java CP>Advanced, check "SSL 2.0" (wasn't necessary on Win7 system, only Vista).

The loader now runs, at about 75% done it aborts, and back to this message:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_291\bin\management.dll: The specified procedure could not be found
at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary0(Unknown Source)

at sun.management.ManagementFactoryHelper$4.run(Unknown Source)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at sun.management.ManagementFactoryHelper.<clinit>(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.management.ManagementFactory.getThreadMXBean(Unknown Source)
at haven.DeadlockWatchdog.run(DeadlockWatchdog.java:84)

Management.dll is in the .bin folder. I don't know what else to do.

Here is the only link I've found to the same error message I'm getting, though this is from the programmer's side, not the end user. Perhaps it will provide a clue to my problem.

The last line of that error message is:
"at haven.DeadlockWatchdog.run(DeadlockWatchdog.java:84)" - 'at haven'!

and the error message is generated by the game, not my system (pop-up in upper left of screen says the error was reported; clicking the details button gets me the error message itself). So, where is the error, and how do we fix it.

The game is running on my Win7 laptop, which has the same game files, the same IE install, the same C++ files, the same java install, and is connected to the same router/modem as the Vista desktop, where the error is thrown between the loader and the log-in screen. (But the laptop has a dieing vid card, between game crashes, java/ogl crashes, and vid driver crashes I'm lucky to get thirty minutes of play time now.)
