[Bug] Did survival become the hardcap for animal products?

Postby Duane » Thu Jun 10, 2021 5:40 pm

I was suspicious that every hide I got for a day from every animal (bats, boars, even a bear) were all Q27. I was even more convinced when the bones were capped at 27 as well, and angrier when I saw those items bump up to 33 when I pumped survival. Animals were found all over. Found several below Q27 as well (foxes).

Q90 stone axe; not the problem. Wiki says nothing on this, anywhere. Does something else hardcap animals?

That's clowny. When was that implemented? It's not mentioned anywhere I can find; maybe an older announcement thread, but certainly not the wiki.

The survival of any character that does damage to the animal will also hardcap it to whoever's survival is the lowest. You can do non damage moves like op knocks though with lower survival chars and not cap it.
