if the claim owner has given you permission on a claim inside a village to where you can only tresspass, you can carry things to the doorway of the gate and steal stuff from it with the visitors debuff active and leave scent and lose hp but wont allow you to leave any other kind of scent while under visitor debuff

you mean rummaging, and this is an intended use case as far as i am aware. claim permission oversights are a thing that people should be mindful of.
