Hunter's quest completed itself

I've had a 1/5 credo 3/3 quest, where I had to (1) Greet a tree (2) Kill a bat (3) Report to a tree.
I planned to reach 100 marksmanship and then complete the quest to maximize gain.
I've done only the "kill a bat" part of it.
Just an hour ago I had 86 marksman ship, now I've noticed its 106.
What the hell?

I assume you just mistook a regular quest for a credo quest while simultaneously having a credo quest telling you to JUST kill a bat, nothing else. Credo quests never tell you to only greet a tree! You can send the screenshot of the quest though, maybe I'm wrong.

There are no credo quests that will ask you to "greet" a tree.

Some credos like nomad will tell you to meet some trees, using some different flavour text, but never "greet".
