I've had this very rarely on various custom clients. It affected a bear in early w10 (hard to tell for sure since it was so long ago) and after that, sheep have been the most common culprit (I think someone even made a screenshot of "blood sacrifice" where regular dead sheep were placed in a circle around standing flayed sheep at a cellar.

If this is Ender's, I get a feeling it can be reproduced in vanilla too. It's just that nobody uses vanilla lmao. Or if they do, they're newbies that didn't yet get to talk to another player to get the "get a custom client" recommendation.

Ender doesn't break any models or animations for the sake of performance afaik
