So Satiations & Hunger actually go down?

I feel like it hasn't moved at all since I logged out last night.

I now noticed that too. They only seem to deplete if you are online.

No, I can confirm that they do; however, keep in mind that the lower levels deplete significantly slower than the higher levels. (That's true for both, but less so for Satiations than for Hunger.)

then I shouldn't have a 34% satiation if I slept for 8 hours. I'll make a test tonight either way.

For the record, I just logged out for 20 minutes, and had my hunger go down from 170.1‰ to 168.8‰, which (UI rounding aside) is right around where the model says it should be.

from 57% to 50% in 9.5 hours is intended? That is really slow.
Edit: I just ralized that I was mainly talking about satiations and you were replying about hunger. Sry about that. Doesn't change my view on the rate of satiations decrease.

yeah idk, it feels way too slow. salt absolutely is going to be a hard requirement with this imo

edit: wow the salt nerf is insane too.

Perhaps, but that's at least not new for this world. It was last changed in this update. At least for satiations, it can be countered by branching out into new foods.

I don't understand why you've chosen to make it so difficult to stay at a high gain though.

The salt nerf is insane, 1 10q peice of salt took me from 167% efficacy to 168%. that's crazy bad. Why even have salt or 300% in the game at that point?

Note that, since it gives a fixed "time of digestion", it will give significantly more than that at higher Satiety levels. The five hours that salt gives at q10 is roughly calibrated to give the previous 10‰ when you're at 100% Efficacy, and, of course, higher gains than that at higher Satiety levels. Not that I'm not open to adjusting what Salt gives, just keep in mind that it doesn't give a fixed amount of Hunger.

While I realize that many people are completely used to only eating at 300% at this point, it was never intended to work that way. It was meant more as a catch-up mechanic for people who don't eat a lot or leave the game for a while, or such things, and somewhat as an early-game bonus. Being closer to 100% Efficacy makes food comparable to the FEPs they used to give in Legacy.
