Cheaters logging into hostile claims

Postby overtyped » Mon Aug 29, 2022 1:11 am

So I was in my cave, after being raided due to a 'feature' i didn't know existed, when I noticed someone log into my cave claim for a moment before logging out.
I thought to myself, that's weird, I know for a fact on my regular old non cheating client, if I fully log out on a hostile claim, i can't log in without teleporting to hearthfire, yet they were able to do it.

Is this another feature unique to high end faction clients that I have no access to, just like how high end clients can loot all high end herbs with 1 exploration and 1 perception simply by asking the server repeatedly until the server caves in and lets the cheats do what they want? Loftar?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

This was fixed and apparently never used in the way you described according to the devs.

No, you aren't supposed to be able to log in at all *visitor debuff or not*, on another claim.

Would be pretty funny if this were just a permissions issue
