Quarryartz ignores concussions?

Postby DauntlessGolem » Tue Oct 18, 2022 5:42 pm

Went mining with a concussion and the Quarryartz I was mining out was higher than my current masonry. My masonry was 190 and the quarryartz was coming out as q202.

As far as I understand, your masonry hardcaps stones you mine and your tool softcaps them. Therefore I don't understand how I was getting q202 quarryartz concussed, unless the game was ignoring my concussion's penalty.

My stats with no concussion make my masonry 205.

+1, not that it will matter anyway.

I don't think quarryartz is capped by stats at all - I'm pretty sure it's different nodes with flat quality if I'm not mistaken, which is the whole reason it's a reward for completing qman

EDIT: I seem to be mistaken. From the wiki:
Quality of mined Quarryartz appears to be hardcapped by Masonry * 1.5 and softcapped by mining tool's quality.

So if your tools allow, your cap should be something like 285 at 190 masonry
