Having trouble running the game

For some reason it didn't automatically associate .jar files with the java application

Trying to launch default client with JAVA(TM) Web Launcher throws this exception.

Tried different versions of java but same issue

Alright i have a solution for anyone who runs into this problem. I was able to execute the .jar via command prompt and after some quick googling found this solution if you scroll down there is an executable that will fix the file associations and with some technical analysis of the problem for whom it may concern.
