can't chop or saw

Progressing normally except have no options to chop or saw anything. Right click a tree and get all options except "chop". Right click a mirkwood log and I just run to it and its inventory opens. Found a tree someone else had chopped, right click a log and get nothing. This is seriously inhibiting my progress.

Ah, thanks. I don't recall doing that in the past, of course at my age there's a lot I don't recall. I should just remember to buy everything as soon as I can afford it.
