Taming cows

Stuff is getting weird with cows, it was working perfectly fine before, but today when we aggro'd one of the cows there was another one that aggro'd, and this has happened twice.
We tamed the one we initially aggro'd and were able to lose aggro on the other one by going into a house and then rope it to a tree, but we have no idea why this happened now all of sudden.

my guess is they somehow fucked up the herd behaviour,
aurochs seem to spawn in herds of 3-6 animals now, and so far we have had conflicting reports of there ability to aggro in packs

yet they dont seem to have this infinitely far reaching hivemind wolves seem to share, and they also dont walk around as obviously centered as an wolfpack does, sometimes one or more of the ochsen even wander of, and end up isolated compleatly,

i never had multiple aurochs aggro me while pulling hairs for example, while oure hunters got attacked multiple times by more than 1 ochsen while aggroing them,

i would guess this inconsitant behaviour also applyes to ochsen currently in taming, did both animals belong to the same herd before hitching?

Probably you are right, but, it's worth mentioning that wolves also don't have infinite aggro range, if they spread out far enough you won't aggro them all, but they seem to have a higher aggro range than aurochs and tend to stick together more.

We tamed some more today and it didn't repeat, idk just seems finnicky, so pretty much fits right into the spirit of taming. Probably their pack mechanics need a bit of adjustments. Still, we expected to have 20 aurochs aggro on us the second we tried to tame one, so it's better than expected lmao.

hmm- was that changed ? i remember distinctly how i would whittle down an pack of wolves with an sling for houres 3 or 4 worlds ago, and had the fleeing one always return on the next reaggro, after it ran to max fleeing distance, or just come back on its own due to the pack "pulling" its centre point closer to the other 2.
i mean if they are so far away, one of them runs intoo unloaded tiles and despawns i guess, but other than that the pack seemed to act as an single entity,

Hmmm, idk, they might have despawned, but a few days ago we aggro'd a wolf after waiting a bit for them to spread about and instead of having like 10 wolves, we only had 3 aggro.
