Gemhunter last perk, does it work?

Has it procced for anyone? I've mined more than a 100 gems after getting the credo and it never doubled anything.

Still not a single gem was doubled so far. Multiple new full stockpiles.

Am I just THAT unlucky and everyone else has it working for them as it should?
