Texture seam

Postby Antvgr » Tue Mar 05, 2024 9:34 pm

Hello!

I have been landscaping my claim and ecnountered bug with textures.
Normally my pseudo-cliffs(sharp change of land levels) look like this. Image
You can see the sharp angle between polygons, but texture is connected.
But one of my cliffs went like this with broken texture.
Image
Even if i level it a bit - it still remains visible.
What can be done about it?

There's a reason why many custom clients have setting called something like "disable smooth terrain transition" which will make terrain much more griddy/blocky. Less aesthetic, but you can see biome covering the tile much more clearly and exactly. Without setting like that, for example, grass will "blob" out to the dirt, making it unclear what is dirt and what is grass.
