Semi-transparent cursor.

The cursor is barely visible upon light background and totally invisible upon white.

Symptoms:
1) It randomly flickers to normal state and back sometimes.
2) I (most of the time) see normal cursor whenever I set low fps limit for background window and make game window non-focused. Sometimes it flickers there too.
3) Every single screen translation tool shows to my friend totally normal cursor even if it ghosted at the moment.
4) Screen record not only shows a normal cursor but forces it actually to render normally on screen.

I tried "Zuzu11.0.18", "jdk-21.0.4" and oracle "jdk-19.0.1" machines for the perfectly same behaviour.
I tried to force "lwjgl" by chainging "public static final Config.Variable<String> renderer = Config.Variable.prop("haven.renderer", "jogl");" -- for the very same behavior.
I tried to update graphical drivers -- same results.

What else can I do?

This is happening on loftar's vanilla client?

What GPU does the computer have? Have you tried oracle's JDK 11 or 15?

Sure, I would not post if it were only custom client problem.

AMD RX 7900 GRE

Just tried jdk-17.0.5 -- same. Honestly, too many versions of java reproduce the issue, also since steam version uses oracle 21, I guess it should be a standart java version for testing.

I noticed that its not a screenshot but a picture of a monitor. Maybe your monitor is borked?

Have you tried clearing your haven cache?

%appdata% -> Roaming/Haven and Hearth

Try renaming this folder temporarily so the game doesn't use the cached stuff

I asked about java 11 and 15 because I remembered loftar recommending java 11 for the website client, and I knwo there's some changes after java 16 (I have no clue what exactly lmao).
But I guess whatever Zuzu 11 is, is probably the same.

Also, I assume you have the default Video settings?

You mentioned your screen recorder somehow fixes the issue. Is that only when recording? Are you recording the entire screen, or only the game application?

just tried -- same.

After the cache clean it was default. Also I just tried to togle things back and forth -- same.

Only when I recording. No flickering there, the cursor is absolutely stable. It allows recording of both: either screen or the active window. In both cases cursor is fine.

You noticed right. Both "win+shift+S" and PrintScreen do not capture cursor. Also I see correct cursor in some specific conditions, right? It is not a monitor.

Bingo! Thanks!
For anyone who will find it later, the option in AMD Adrenalin is "10-Bit Pixel Format".
