cannot launch game from autohaven.jar or steam

Hello, whenever i try to launch the game i see the "checking [blank]" text and it moves quite quickly through some list of items before promptly closing without launching the game. Ive reinstalled Java8, redownloaded the launcher tried using ender launcher both from forums and workshop and nothing has seemed to work. As far as i know my drivers are all up to date. I should note that i dont get any crash log when this happens, else i would have posted it. I do have an NVidia card and have disabled the whatever it was (it was previously set to on). Enabling/Disabling my firewall has no affect.
