Inherited character has no quest to get body

like the title says, I died to some stupid creature I didn't know was aggressive, but when I inherited the character, I have no quest or tracker pointing to where my body is.

Perhaps someone buried it already. I’ve buried three dead guys so far.

sorry it logged me out of my steam linked account for some reason. I do not think so, I went right to the spot where I died with in 10 minutes and the body was not there. Even then, I doubt someone came across it and buried it in the 2 minutes it took to get back into the game with the inherited character.

Further more, we I go to my account page... I have no dead characters and that character is no where to be seen. I am thinking that it was immediately deleted from the world and the account.

From what I can tell, you do in fact have the quest to bury your ancestor, but your ancestor indeed has no corpse, so it wouldn't show a pointer.

I can't tell exactly what may have happened after the fact, but I do see that you died to a walrus. It may be conceivable that, in a flock of walrii, one may have had some problem pathfinding or something, and broke your body to get around it. This in fact whatever happened happened only 1 second after you died, so I think you should have had the chance to see it.

Yes, looks like someone indeed did. I have some skills and FEP I have not trained and ate yet. Wow that was super fast from dying to making a character.

Oh so I am not crazy then... so then... did you grant me burial rights or something?
