Soon to be tamed animals disapeared.

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time...

Soon to be tamed animals disapeared.

I died 2 days ago, I was able to continue the taming as if nothing happened , last one even being 7 hours ago or somthing.
When I woke up all of them were gone , 8 are gone.
I'm not on the border of a grid , so I imagine it's due to the death.
What's really weird though is the taming process continued , last one showing a 75.

Somebody probably stole them.
The existence of a girlfriend implies the existence of a girlfoe & that is the service I'll be offering.

Yep I bet , under a vclaim , pali'd obviously.
And it's the only thing they stole.
Thank you for your contribution.

You didn’t specify that it was under a vclaim palisade. You dying wouldn’t have affected those animals. Something else happened. Theft is usually the culprit, if not, too much time passed. At 75% an animal would despawn after 20-21 hours. So it’s weird that they’d be gone if not done by another player.

My man, Judging by your others posts on other threads you have no idea what you're talking about , so let the grown up discuss aye?
This is the bug forum.
My account is 12 years old, I wouldnt post here if I wasnt 99% sure this is indeed a bug , me mentionning the grid border bug was also a good hint Im not clueless.
It is indeed claimed / pali'd/ no there is no flaw , but it's so freaking obvious that I didnt even mention it, my bad though I guess.
The thread is for Jorb to see, nothing else.

We figured there's some bug with animals in tight places and they break the leash if they get stuck or something.
We moved them to a less obnoxiously tight place and didn't have the issue any more.

Now I'm not assuming this is what's happening to you, but maybe it's related.

Thanks , that shouldnt be the case no, they should have a lot of space
Each Hitching post are separated by 2 empty tiles and they have lot of room to roam freely.
Now there is only 1 tile empty between hitching post and pali and it could be related to the bug you mention BUT I find highly suspicious they'd all disapear in 6-7h while I was sleeping and not even one before that.
While my death is semi recent (2 days ago) it seems likely it's the root of the issue.
And there is just no way it's griefing , there is probably a very small window to shoot them to death if very patient for them to come to the right spot , but the corpse would be there.
Stealing there is just no way ( and they would have stole more valuable stuff anyway :D)

Definitely bug, imo related to the death.
