Horse blocks animal when giving clover

I know this is a well-known issue, but thought I'd share it here just to remind the devs that this still acts weird. When giving a wild animal a clover while riding a horse, the animal will attempt to take the clover but cannot- so it always leads to the animal failing to be pacified and walking away permanently disinterested. If the goal of the devs was to make this impossible because, maybe, the wild animal is afraid of the horse (even though it's perfectly fine with walking right up to the horse anyways) then there should be a visual indication or warning of this. The whole dismounting just to tame would be fine if there was a warning and the player knew what to do, instead of running around looking for a specific animal for days because he doesn't know why the animals never cooperate. If this was meant to actually work from horseback, then hopefully it's just a collider issue or something and I'd appreciate a fix desperately

It's just a collider issue, the horse's torso sticks out farther than you, and your character always rotates to face the animal, so the animal bumps into your horse's torso before it can reach you and bugs out and ignores you.

pls fix
Total misplay.

I like the idea that you have to get off-horse to give a treat to a wild animal.
With the character peacefully kneeling, that feels quite realistic.

And agree with OP, entirely disallow the feeding from horse and warn the player "You can't feed a clover to an animal from a vehicle".

Just disallow the feeding on horse back.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

This also occurs when bandying other players while one is on the horse, it can suck when your own horse wanders off for the trade.

Yes that's weird btw, horse to unmounted works, but unmounted to horse doesn't.
Does that mean that you can tame from horse if you are using clover and are close enough from the animal?
Anyway bandy should have a stronger range, not strong enough to make it better than to move stuff manually, but at least to get through horses hitboxes.
