i cant use morels for my autumn steak!

i am retard


tho, i seasonaly pick morels irl around march/april. the custom here is to slice them in half and put in salty water, which removes pests. then we pan fry them, often in coated in ritz cracker crumbs. dry morels just aint as good :(

The way it should be is that morels should be made to be usable with any cooking method, just not eaten by themselves.

In real life, morels are poisonous until cooked. The typical way to eat them where I come from is, yes, cut in half and fried in butter. My family never put crumbs on them, though.

Looking it up, I see that people do eat them dried, but I'd be scared to dry them raw like in the game because morels are poisonous.
