Unable to load map.

I wanted to get the game on my new pc in preperation for the New world coming out. Got it downloaded made sure I was runing java 21 cause someone told me thats the best one for Haven and when I connect to the game I get logged in and can choose my character but then it just goes to a Loading map data screen for all my current characters. I tried making a new character as I thought myabe my old characters were in a bad place but when it loads in and lets me make a new character I can move forward a few feet in the water and the game just crashes out.

This is what I get when I log into any character I already have.


using ender Client I was able to make a new character but when I crossed the river to select my gender the game really chugged and all the popups you get talking about it just stuck on screen before jthe game crashed a moment later.



I Have java 25 but also I have java 21 should I uninstall 25? or should I keep both?

Edit: after seeing the above I went in and updated my graphics drivers and it did not work still.

Decided to try something weird. Made a new account and tried to make a new chracter. It worked fine in creating a character. Was able to explore the character creation area just fine. Got to the fire and tried to burn into the world and the game just crashes. I used Hurricane launcher this time as its the most stable it seems and doesn't just crash but throws errors in the CMD. This is what I get when I use a New Character on a new Account

I am at a loss.

Edit: I have fully uninstalled all Java and reinstalled it on my machine. I have reset my machine as well to no changes.

I guess you were born in the wrong country buddy. The only real solution is vpn but i really hope for some possible fixes or workarounds when more returning russian players realise they can't play HH anymore.

I didn't know Alabama was part of Russia? I guess my crappy southern learning didn't teach us about that.

Time for some pure crazy. I fixed it... well kinda I can play.

Lets give some background on stuff I did. Thinking it might be in need of a vpn I got Proton and even with it being a bit slow it worked. Don't have a clue why but it did. Then I wondered if it could be my ISP so I used my phone to host a hotspot and connected. Again it worked just fine. Got in without even the VPN so that was something.

Now for the Pure Crazy. In what I thought was just an act of sheer stupidity I decided that I would connect to my ISP Wifi. The internet that hadn't worked via ethernet but wifi sure lets give it a shot.... It worked. Ethernet didn't work but wifi on the same network worked just fine. So something is weird with the ethernet....
