Problem with hives in 16.2

Postby llgromll » Wed Aug 19, 2026 11:09 am

When creating the hives, I placed the blueprints next to each other, and after adding resources (starting with straw), I added straw to each blueprint. After adding the straw, I added three larvae to the first blueprint, and they were automatically added to all the hive blueprints. I only used three larvae in my inventory, but I built five hives.

next time don't build so close or only build one at a time.

sounds like the game spread out your bugs across the 5 blueprints

Well, that's a mistake, isn't it? Why build hives in different places when you can make as many as you want from three larvae at once and not waste time raiding wild hives?

I also built smokehouses... half the resources went from the first blueprint to the rest, and I didn't have to collect resources and waste time

i've never seen nor heard of anything like this. it sounds like blueprints are just pulling from adjacent stockpiles. i'd love photo/video proof of a bug that allows you to just build shit with no materials. what would its resultant quality even be?

i have no idea what this reply is supposed to mean. "next time don't build so close"? but he's describing a beneficial item duplication bug? "only build one at a time"? do you think you can build multiple things at the same time? chatgpt response.

It doesn't look like a stockpile error because you can't stockpile larvae. I wonder how that happens if real.

It's interesting. Okay, is there anyone who can give me some straw and larvae for videos and photos? So I can document the bug? I just don't see the point anymore. I won't be breeding hives or anything like that..
Ps. I will simply continue to use this and will not perceive it as a mistake.
